Bio: Nancy is an individual, couples and family therapist who has been working for FCC for more than 20 years. She received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Colorado before receiving her Masters in Social Work from the University of Utah. She has also attended the University of Utah School on Alcoholism and Other Drug Dependencies. Professionally, Nancy has worked as a Juvenile Court probation counselor and supervisor, Youth Corrections Observation and Assessment program coordinator and director, Youth Corrections Region II Administrator, Youth Parole Authority hearing officer, and Western Institute of Neuropsychiatry adolescent unit program director.
Nancy has broad clinical experience working with adults and teens who struggle with issues including mood disorders, anxiety, depression, bi-polar disorder, personality disorders, PTSD, abuse, trauma, LGBTQ and women’s issues. She serves clients who are dealing with substance abuse and process addictions as well as relationship difficulties be they couples, marital, families, divorce, parenting. Nancy believes that each client is unique and possesses strength beyond their awareness. She utilizes an eclectic assortment of treatment methods based on individual needs. She is honored by her clients’ trust and awed by their courage and strength.
